Waggle Events chosen as supplier to WestCountry Services

2nd October 2017 by ripplerob

Waggle Events are delighted to be chosen as the preferred supplier of audio visual equipment and resource to Westcountry Services Ltd. In 2017, Ripple Events supplied the PA, speakers, live camera feed and LED screen at the South West Youth Games. The 2017 SWYG, held in Okehampton, were organised with Westcountry Services as a strategic partner to the Games’ Trust. Waggle Events ran a live camera stream to a LED screen which greatly enhanced the experience for viewers at the event. Outdoor events and the use of a camera stream to LED screen has become very popular as a way of increasing visibility and reach for sponsors as well as a way of increasing the number of people able to view demonstrations and interviews.

Every year the South West Youth Games gives more than a thousand participants the chance to be part of something special. The region’s largest sporting event gives young people the chance to come together in the spirit of competition, fair play and friendship.Combining a fun event with healthy competition, the South West Youth Games inspires children and young people to take up regular sporting activities, which can help them lead healthier lives. Devon Air Ambulance Family Day

13th September 2017 by ripplerob

We had a great time at the DAA 25th Anniversary Family Day at Darts Farm, providing support to the main stage for the live music and providing the outdoor screen for events. We enjoyed working with BitPod on the live streaming to the outdoor screen in the demo areas. We put up a big screen and speakers so that the emergency services could re-enact some scenarios – an excellent way of demonstrating just how much work goes into an incident like a car accident.

The team set up a simulated car accident to show how the emergency services would tackle an incident like this and how the services work toegther. The screen meant that the incident could be watched from across the field and BitPod were live streaming online, realy extending the reach of the family day to those watching at home.

In spite of unsettled weather, a lot of people turned out to support the Devon Air Ambulance and take a look inside one of the helicopters.
